Dear members and friends of the IIBA Italy Chapter,
our Chapter is the Italian association of reference on the discipline of Business Analysis. With the aim of building an association ever closer to our professional members and supporters of Business Analysis, this year we decided to dedicate the Chapter’s main event to sharing experiences of applying the Babok Guide.
The Babok Guide contains the guidelines of the Business Analyst Profession and as such represents the beacon for the development of our profession. These guidelines have been developed and reviewed by thousands of Business Analysts around the world with the aim of building a common vocabulary and providing the elements for the development of skills in the discipline of Business Analysis.
BAWI2022 – Back to Babok!
In this year’s BAWI event we want to explore together with Business Analysts how organizations apply these guidelines to understand their real value.
We will explore how the guidelines of the Babok Guide are applied and what benefits derive from them regarding the processes of Elicitation and Collaboration. How important is Strategy Analysis and how Babok is applied in this context. What benefits does the application of Babok bring to requirements and solution analysis processes. How the Traceability, Prioritization, Maintenance, Change Management and Approval guidelines are applied. Which Underlying Competencies are most used and developed. Which techniques are most widespread and used; such as the value of Business Analysis certifications. Both in predictive and adaptive contexts, for any perspective (Business Intelligence, IT, business process management, etc.).
BAWI2022 Call for Speakers
We invite all members and professional friends, experimenters, supporters of Business Analysis to share practical experiences of applying the Babok Guide and of value for organizations.
Interested parties can respond to the BAWI2022 call for speakers by sending an abstract in word or powerpoint format of up to 200 words that summarizes the contents of the speech which will last no more than 30 minutes. The abstract must be sent by Friday 4 November at 6.00 pm to the email address info@italy.iiba.org.
